KickParty Community Guidelines
Updated: August 8, 2016
Welcome to KickParty you party people! We are more than excited to have you as part of the KickParty crew and our growing community of party throwers and goers. While people come together from all over to make amazing experiences happen, we want to ensure that KickParty is a safe and reliable place to plan, organize and fund your next great event.
We ask everyone who uses our services, both Organizers and Attendees to follow a few basic rules, which we call our Community Guidelines. If for any reason you do not comply with these rules while on our site, we will take action which might involve closing your KickParty account. If you have any questions about these guidelines, please reach out to us at [email protected].
Now in the interest of happy, healthy and epic partying, please keep the following things in mind as you use KickParty...
Don't spam.
Nobody likes spam, even spammers don’t like getting spam. The comment and messaging systems on KickParty are here so people can communicate, ask questions, and spread the stoke about a party -- not for spam.
Don’t be a jerk.
We have a zero tolerance policy for abuse, harassment, threats, bullying, and stalking. We’re all here to have a good time, so if people are asking questions or leaving comments, please respond in a respectful and honest way. Do not post obscene, hateful, or objectionable content.
Don’t commit fraud.
Do not use KickParty for fraud, plain and simple. If we have reason to believe that you’ve sent or received fraudulent funds on our services, we will suspend or terminate your account and contact the authorities.
Don’t impersonate.
Be yourself, not somebody else. Why would you want to do that anyway?
Don’t invade someone’s privacy.
Just like in the physical world, you shouldn’t be invading people’s personal space and privacy in the digital world. Do not post any personal information - like contact information or information about someone’s personal life without their consent.
Now for the fun things that you should do!
Be a team player.
If you see something going on on our site that is breaking any of the above rules, let us know. Our team will be on it immediately and make sure the appropriate course of action is taken.
Be honest.
When using KickParty, be truthful about who you are and your intentions for using the site. If you are organizing a party, make sure you’re accurately describing the event and what people are supporting. If you are honest and your party is what you say it will be, chances are you will increase your following on KickParty and have many more successful events.
Have fun!
KickParty gives you the tools to be uber creative and think outside the box, so run with it! Bring amazing experiences to life and spread the love to all your friends with #kickparty.
Thank you for being a part of the KickParty family. If you have any questions about these guidelines or feedback for us about anything at all, we’d love to hear from you! Contact our team at [email protected].
